  14. I can't seem to find any previous post about this problem I'm
  15. having. I'm trying to get xdvi 1.7 to work on

  20. compiled by sgi's cc (the gcc we have is mucho broken).

  22. It's quite easy to get it compiled, just define NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T and
  23. hups --- it's built. The problem comes when trying to run it:

  26. Error: Can't open display: mnemosyne:0.0

  28. Obviously a problem with WCHAR I think, and set about reading the
  29. kpathsea manual on the subject and messing with the headerfiles and
  30. Makefile, trying different approaces of #definie'ing and #undef'ining
  31. STDC_LIBRARY, X_WCHAR and NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T on different places and so
  32. on...

  34. I will be thankfull for any tips and hints ppl that have this running
  35. on SGI can provide me with.

  40. PS. Karl: The versions of xdvi and dvips did _not_ contain tex-file.h
  41. (nag, nag ;-) But I soon found your ftpsite, and the day was saved :-)
